Boy has life been a bit of a whirlwind the past couple of weeks. As last minutes notice (litterally the day before we moved) we found out that the sellers of our new house are agreeing to let us rent from them starting NOW until our close date (Dec 17)!! We are/were so excited to not put all of our possessions into storage and not have to live out of a suitcase for two weeks.
So, on Saturday, with much appreciated help from Tyler, Reed, Mike, Katie and my parents, we loaded up two trips worth of a 26' moving truck and moved into our new house!!! Before my parents left, they helped us get the living room and Grayson's room in order so we had something finished.
We are making good progress unpacking. It would be nice if we snapped and it was done, but I guess the good comes with some bad. We haven't really had a chance to "enjoy" the house yet. I think we will do that this weekend.
We have worked really hard to make this big purchase and are so proud of all the space we can now grow into! We're excited to have family gatherings over the holidays, where people aren't so crammed into our house.
Thanks to everyone who helped us make this move possible, whether you helped move, unpack, babysit, moral support, or really anything...it was all appreciated.

When the kids were young we always spent a night during the Christmas
season to ooh and aah over Christmas lights and go out to supper. It was a
tradition...

We were glad to help even though we were SORE the next day. I'm certainly not used to carrying around 20lbs. so much! You have a beautiful house, and I can't wait to see you turn it into a home. I'm also anxious to see it decorated for Christmas. Dad is wondering if Tanner has the lights on the little trees out front yet, and the rooflines like the other neighbors.
