Grayson's Monthly Photo

When Grayson was born, we decided to take his picture in the same outfit each month to see how much he was growing. This is an 18 month shorts outfit. Most of the time he cooperated while we were taking his photo. As he got older, it became harder to keep him on the floor.

Which is your favorite picture of Grayson and why?

The Big 1!

Grayson is only 2 days away from his first birthday! Yesterday at daycare they had a little "party" for him (who knew you have to send treats starting with the first birthday).

He dug right in to the cupcake and apparently loved it!
For anyone who hasn't seen him lately, he's not walking yet but moving very quickly crawling. He has 3 teeth- one new one on top. He says 2 words- Dada and Hi. Maybe Mama can be his third word? He is currently going through some attachment with Tanner. It's hard being the parent who leaves in the morning, walks out of the room, or goes where I want without Grayson even noticing. It's hard for Tanner because he can't even walk to the next room without Grayson crying (makes it hard when it's just the two of them).

Grayson is also pointing at things he wants, pretty much just his sippy cup. He's also waving at the appropriate time and, my favorite, giving hugs. He is down to 1 bottle a day right before bed, and we plan to get rid of that next week. His 12mo check up with the doctor is Monday. I'm curious to see how much he weighs and how tall he is. Boy does time fly!

For Dale's Benefit

As many of you may know, my Uncle Dale has esophageal cancer. We are holding a benefit for him in February. We are working to collect donations of all sizes, whether it's items to sell at the auction or money toward the fund. I hope you will visit the blog created for this called For Dale's Benefit, seen at the left. Please consider attending the event, donating an auction item, donating money via paypal on the blog, and/or spreading the word to anyone you know who might do the same.

Please take the time to view the blog. It's important to me and my family.

Thank you!
