November and December Photos

Grayson is playing with the building blocks his Grandpa Roos built him. Both Grayson's grandpa and daddy hurt themselves using the belt sander during this project. Both of us sanded the tip of our middle finger on our right hand and part of our finger nail. I'm just going to use a file next time my nails get long. Grayson ate ravioli by himself this night. He loves to feed himself and often shakes his head "no!" if we try to feed him. He is turning into an eating machine.
Grayson is playing in his crib a few days before we moved. We had a hard time getting packed with him in the room, so this seemed to be a good solution.
As Grayson gets larger and moves more, we have a harder time getting him to lay on his back for a picture. Here he is at 10 months. You can tell that he is starting to get a little puffy. He has always been very solid, now he is getting a little cushioning for when he falls.
Here he is at 9 months.
From now on Grayson takes baths in the bathtub all by himself. As you can see, "G" is his favorite letter.
Now that Grayson can stand, he wants to see everything that we are doing. Here he is helping load the dishwasher.
When Trina and I were looking at houses, Grayson had a play date with a friend. This is Adam and Elizabeth Miller's daughter Isabel.

Quick Update!

Boy has life been a bit of a whirlwind the past couple of weeks. As last minutes notice (litterally the day before we moved) we found out that the sellers of our new house are agreeing to let us rent from them starting NOW until our close date (Dec 17)!! We are/were so excited to not put all of our possessions into storage and not have to live out of a suitcase for two weeks.

So, on Saturday, with much appreciated help from Tyler, Reed, Mike, Katie and my parents, we loaded up two trips worth of a 26' moving truck and moved into our new house!!! Before my parents left, they helped us get the living room and Grayson's room in order so we had something finished.

We are making good progress unpacking. It would be nice if we snapped and it was done, but I guess the good comes with some bad. We haven't really had a chance to "enjoy" the house yet. I think we will do that this weekend.

We have worked really hard to make this big purchase and are so proud of all the space we can now grow into! We're excited to have family gatherings over the holidays, where people aren't so crammed into our house.

Thanks to everyone who helped us make this move possible, whether you helped move, unpack, babysit, moral support, or really anything...it was all appreciated.
